Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Rotherview. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and behaviours that may challenge.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead by example, support the staff team on shift, and ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care is delivered at all times.
Duties Include:
Lead shifts and delegate tasks appropriately
Support residents with personal care and daily living tasks
Implement and review care plans and behaviour support plans
Administer and oversee medication in line with policy
Manage and respond to incidents appropriately
Carry out Audits in Line with policy
We are looking for a candidate with experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or complex behaviours, who can demonstrate confidence in delivering person-centred care.
Previous senior or leadership experience within a care setting is preferred.
Applicants should hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and have a strong understanding of safeguarding practices.
The successful candidate will be able to lead shifts effectively, support and guide colleagues, communicate clearly, maintain accurate documentation, and remain calm and proactive when managing behaviours that may challenge.
