Summary
The duties of the post include: -
Preaching, teaching, and leading worship as a youth minister
Planning and executing the programs for the youth ministry of the church
Devising, establishing, developing, and overseeing a mentoring program and
meetings with young people to provide support, study the bible, and pray.
Identifying and developing the gifts and talents of young people and volunteers,
and encouraging active participation in church life, including youth-led services.
To provide Pastoral Care for Youth
Other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.
Skills/Experience: -
Minimum of 2 years of work experience with youths in a church setting
(Required)
Minimum of a secondary school certificate but a degree would be an added
advantage
Commitment to the church's vision and leadership.
Experience in leading youth and young people as well as organising relevant
activities for Youths.
Awareness of youth and culture and issues facing young people.
The ability to be empathetic and build trusting relationships with young people
Strong Counselling Skills
Effective communication skills (verbal & written)
