Luma Education Recruitment is hiring a Teaching Assistant for a well-established, supportive secondary school in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across KS3–KS4, including students with SEN, SEMH, ASD and ADHD.
What You’ll Do:
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
Implement behaviour strategies (PRICE or TeamTeach experience desirable)
Support pupils’ academic, emotional and social development
Help maintain a calm, positive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
School-based or youth work experience
Confident supporting behaviour needs
Patient, resilient and proactive attitude
DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
PRICE or TeamTeach training (ideal)
