Where will you be working?
This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
Delivering operational quality support for MGW’s Yorkshire Water and United Utilities contracts, focusing on water and wastewater infrastructure. You’ll drive quality assurance across site activities, help instil a culture of right-first-time delivery, and work collaboratively with teams to achieve zero defects.
What will you be doing?
You'll conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project quality standards and support the ongoing review of Project Quality Plans (PQPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Provide day‑to‑day quality assurance support to operations teams, assisting with the management and resolution of non‑conformances and auditing subcontractor quality processes to uphold consistent performance. Help drive the implementation and improvement of quality standards and promote a strong quality culture by sharing lessons learned and best practice. IParticipate in project meetings, manage and escalate issues promptly, and provide clear written communication when required. You'll maintain effective communication with project and business stakeholders and actively support innovation by encouraging new and improved ways of working. Through proactive oversight and engagement, help
ensure high‑quality delivery across all stages of the project.
What you will bring

- Practical understanding of ISO 9001 standards and demonstrable experience in quality assurance within the construction sector.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to integrate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to motivate and foster engagement with quality assurance initiatives.
- Commitment to promoting, maintaining, and embedding a strong quality culture across all projects.
