Summary
We are currently recruiting Despatch Support Operatives to support busy warehouse and transport operations at Turners Ltd, Bicker Bar. This role plays a key part in ensuring loads are processed accurately and released efficiently within a fast-paced logistics environment.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail, basic IT confidence, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Operate handheld scanning devices to accurately scan and track products

Monitor and check spreadsheets to identify discrepancies, anomalies, or missing information.

Input and update basic data accurately within Excel spreadsheets and internal systems

Release loads on the system once checks are complete and verified

Communicate and escalate any issues or queries to Turners onsite management or Branston staff in Lincoln

Support the smooth flow of despatch operations to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy

Work collaboratively with warehouse and transport teams to ensure operational efficiency
- Good standard of written and spoken English

Basic IT skills (essential), including confidence using spreadsheets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable working with minimal instructions

Able to identify minor issues and either resolve them or escalate appropriately
- Warehouse or logistics experience desirable, but not essential

Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work 12-hour shifts
- Transport to get to site due to location.

4 on / 4 off Shift Pattern | 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
£13 p/h basic wage
