Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our client based in Liverpool. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long‑term stability and excellent working conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Safe movement of Class 1 vehicles between two nearby sites
- Monday - Friday 0700 - 1700
- Manoeuvring vehicles into restricted and confined spaces
- General yard duties when shunting work is complete
- Ensuring high standards of safety and professionalism at all times
- Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- NEWLY PASSED DRIVERS WELCOME
- Good awareness of yard safety
- Ability to manoeuvre large vehicles confidently
- £15.00 per hour
- Temp‑to‑perm for the right candidate
- Supportive transport team and friendly working environment
