Summary
Classroom Support Staff - This is a fixed term contract until 22nd July 2026. The role will be for 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11.30am - 1.30pm.Are you a dedicated professional able to support and enhance the education and welfare of our pupils?
We are currently looking for Support Staff to join our team at Beaufort Primary School due to a rise in numbers of children. Relevant, recent EYFS experience would be an advantage.
Candidates must be willing to become a part of our whole school team and should be hardworking, committed, highly positive and able to use their initiative. They should be adaptable, creative and able to communicate well with adults and children. Our ethos is one of mutual respect and our ideal candidate would understand how to nurture and develop the whole child whilst maintaining high expectations and standards. Good levels of Maths and English are absolutely essential, previous Early Years teaching experience would be desirable. Graduates are encouraged to apply as Beaufort are keen to support staff to become Teachers.
This post will initially be for our EYFS in Nursery, although you should be prepared to work with any age group throughout the primary school, depending on the future needs of the school. It involves working under the guidance of the class teacher to support children both within the classroom and through small group and one to one work. The job would involve planning activities, teaching groups or individuals according to their needs, supervising the class as required, carrying out interventions and supporting the class teacher with the implementation of personalised learning. Full training will be given.
