Summary

As the Senior Infrastructure Specialist for our Voice Platforms, you will:

  • Work closely with senior engineers and architects to design, implement, and integrate modern voice solutions aligned with strategic roadmaps.

  • Lead a Team to deliver and support high‑quality engineering change, ensuring voice solutions are resilient, scalable, and aligned to best practices.

  • Deliver and support the next generation of AI capabilities to drive and add value to the customer and colleague experience.

  • Support automation and orchestration activities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service reliability across Voice Services.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, contributing to structured diagnostics and resolution during major incidents.

  • Provide technical insight and recommendations to guide solution choices and ensure compliance with Group technology policies.

  • Provide technical leadership across the Voice Services engineering community, mentoring junior engineers, guiding best‑practice decisions, and promoting a culture of high‑quality engineering.

What you'll need

  • Strong experience with large‑scale telephony platforms and enterprise voice solutions, ideally including technologies such as SIP, CX, CCaaS, Avaya, Genesys, Verint, and RingCentral.

  • Proven ability to influence engineering outcomes, assess technical risk, and contribute to the balance of service stability and transformation delivery.

  • A good understanding of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with hands‑on experience using tools such as Python, Jenkins, Harness, Ansible, Terraform, or Docker.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across engineering teams, operational functions, and vendor partners.

  • Experience supporting roadmap activities, identifying and tracking technical debt, and contributing to overall platform health and readiness.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to investigate complex technical challenges, explore emerging patterns, and help validate solutions for enterprise adoption.
