Residential Children’s Worker Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, £14.25 – £16.00 per hour
Role Overview
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Residential Children’s Workers to join our team in Milton Keynes, providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people in residential care settings. Key Responsibilities
Provide daily care, emotional support, and guidance to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
Support the development of essential life skills, such as independence, self-esteem, and social skills, through tailored care plans and activities
Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding
Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality care and support, sharing best practices and expertise
Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in residential childcare
Required Skills & Experience
Experience supporting vulnerable children or young people in residential care settings, with a deep understanding of their needs and challenges
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues
Caring, resilient, and proactive approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred but not essential), with a willingness to undertake further training and development
