Summary
1. To provide psychiatric and medical assessments of children and adolescents, including prescribing and monitoring medication, working therapeutically with young people and family and supporting delivery of services according to NICE guidelines policies. 2. To undertake physical examinations and order investigations as required. 3. The post-holder will join other members of the team to provide psychiatric input including assessment and treatment of comorbid mental health disorders. 4. To provide clinical assessments for new referrals (typically one or two new assessments weekly). Please refer to the attached job description for further information about this role.
