Summary
Background
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to have a full UK driving licence, with access to vehicle (mileage paid).
Job Purpose
Open and close public convenience and car parks
Your new role
• To ensure that the Council public conveniences are empty by checking all cubicles before locking and opening and locking car parks.
• The post holder will be required to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Always Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and to ensure a safe working area.
• To lock and unlock the facility and to ensure that all keys are kept safely and that all security checks are completed as instructed.
• To maintain and keep cleaning equipment in good condition.
• To assist the public to safely use the facilities.
• To report any faults and defects to the cleaning supervisor
• To undertake any other duties as directed by the cleaning supervisor
• To work on own initiative and allocate time between several sites.
• Be able to drive Council owned vehicles.
The successful candidate will be shown the full route by the cleaning supervisor.
Shift Pattern:
4:30am till 7:30am – 8pm till 11pm
3 days on 3 days off, 2 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 2 days off
