What we’re looking for

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation.

We’re looking for a Criminal Justice Recovery Practitioner for our Merton Service

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced criminal justice drug and alcohol recovery practitioner. The post holder will work closely with partners from probation and prisons as well as the courts and the police to support and engage service users into recovery-orientated drug and alcohol treatment.

You will provide outreach satellites in the local Probation office as well as one or more prisons and lead on the service’s links with these agencies. This exciting role will offer the successful candidate the chance to make a lasting difference to the lives of our service users.

You will be responsible for managing a small caseload of clients, to include prescribing, providing a good quality of interventions at varying stages of their recovery.

This is not just a job – you’ll help people rebuild their lives, reconnect with their family and friends, return to work or education, and much more.

We’re looking for individuals with compassion, good communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

If you’re someone who is a good listener, stays curious, and wants to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
