Summary
Your new company
We're looking for a friendly, proactive Independent Living Advisor to support older residents to live comfortably, safely, and independently in their homes.
You'll be the first point of contact on site - offering reassurance, practical support, and excellent customer service. From helping residents settle in, to keeping the building safe and well‑managed, you'll play a key part in creating a positive living environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong people skills who enjoys a varied, meaningful role.
Your new role
- Support residents as they move in and get settled
- Carry out regular site and safety checks across the building
- Respond to tenancy‑related queries and escalate issues where needed
- Monitor contractors and ensure work is completed to standard
- Keep accurate records and update systems promptly
- Work closely with colleagues to resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Provide a calm, approachable presence for residents each day
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with older people
- A commitment to Equality and Diversity
- Ability to adapt communication style to different needs
- General administrative and numeracy skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Clear spoken and written communication
- Confident using Microsoft Office
