We are recruiting for a Dental Engineer to join a leading engineering company for Engineers who would be happy to consider a UK wide field service opportunity.
The Role
As a field-based Dental Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, commissioning and repairing a wide range of dental equipment across contracted sites. You will work closely with account managers to coordinate workloads while managing your own administration, service reports, parts ordering and compliance requirements.
This role offers a high level of autonomy. You will be trusted to manage your diary, maintain your test equipment and stock levels, carry out personal risk assessments and ensure all work meets regulatory and quality standards.
You will also benefit from ongoing technical training through an internal training academy, developing your knowledge across equipment types and manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
Service, repair and commission dental equipment
Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, air and water systems
Provide equipment assessments and quotations where required
Complete service documentation via an Asset Management System
Maintain compliance with quality and safety procedures
Liaise professionally with internal teams and client contacts
About You
Proven experience as a Dental Engineer (essential)
Strong knowledge of dental equipment, air lines, water systems and electrics
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits
£35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service to 28 days)
