Summary

Hourly Rate: £13.69 - £13.90

A market supplement equalling time and a third is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting the hourly rate in these periods to between £18.25 and £18.53. This applies to both contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods

From 20th April 2026 this will be replaced by a new market supplement of £0.53p per hour which will be payable once you have been in post for 6 months. It will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours, uplifting the hourly rate to £14.43 per hour. There will be the option to take this as a lump sum annually

We support adults with learning and physical disabilities, promoting their emotional and physical wellbeing while encouraging personal development in line with the needs and wishes of each individual.

As a Night Support Worker you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort and wellbeing of our Service Users throughout the night. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow and contribute to individually tailored care plans, providing high-quality personal care where required. You will offer reassurance and support, while promoting independence wherever possible.

Your responsibilities will include conducting regular welfare checks, responding promptly to any needs during the night, maintaining accurate records and ensuring a calm and safe environment. You will help ensure continuity of care by effectively communicating with the day team at handover.

Working hours for this position are 10:00pm – 7:30am
