Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Stroke team at Fairfield General Hospital.

This post will provide you with excellent opportunities to develop a wide range of clinical and professional skills in a friendly and supportive environment at an outstanding Primary Stroke Centre.

You will carry out holistic Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment interventions, considering the persons physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs. You will work in either the acute or rehab stroke wards. You will work with the MDT to achieve SMART rehabilitation goals and facilitate discharges home, working with our community stroke colleagues.

You will be supervised and supported by highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapists and work collaboratively with the MDT. The Occupational Therapy Service strives for continuous service improvement and professional development is supported. We place great importance upon training and supporting all members of our team.
