Summary

Workforce Systems Assistant (Part-Time, Permanent)
20 hours per week | Hybrid working
Location: Together Trust Central Office, Schools Hill, Cheadle
Salary: £29,108 FTE (pro-rated £15,524)
Reports to: Senior Workforce Information Analyst

As one of UK's best employers we’re looking for a detail-focused, proactive and highly organisedWorkforce Systems Assistant to join our Workforce Systems & Analytics team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, solving problems, and supporting colleagues to get the most out of digital systems.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our workforce systems accurate, efficient, and user-friendly — helping ensure our teams can focus on delivering meaningful support to the communities we serve.


What you’ll be doing:
  • Maintain accurate people data and organisational structures across digital workforce systems.

  • Set up and manage user accounts.

  • Support system upgrades, audits, workflow configuration, and housekeeping activities.

  • Contribute to testing and continuous system improvement.

  • Provide friendly, practical support through the workforce systems helpdesk.

  • Develop expert “super user” knowledge of systems.

  • Support workforce reporting, KPIs, and management information.

  • Use Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and other tools to present workforce data clearly.

  • Help communicate system updates and process changes.

  • Create and maintain clear training materials and guidance.

  • Support workforce planning and development activities.

What we’re looking for:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

  • Level 3 qualification in data, ICT, computing or equivalent.

  • Strong administration and data accuracy skills.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

  • Experience working with online systems and web applications.

  • Helpdesk support experience..

  • Experience creating training materials.

  • Good organisation, time management, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
