Hours: 45 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.70
Contract Type: Full-Time
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team at B&Q. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and store property, while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor store activities to prevent theft, loss, and damage
-Provide a visible security presence within the store
-Conduct regular patrols and ensure store policies are followed
-Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns promptly
-Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
-Work closely with store management and staff
-Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
-Valid SIA Licence (Essential)
-Previous retail security experience preferred
-Strong communication and customer service skills
-Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
-Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
