PE Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

Duties as PE Teacher:

• Teach PE part time across relevant year groups
• Deliver engaging, well‑organised practical sessions
• Follow provided lesson materials where required with no planning or marking
• Promote participation, teamwork, and physical development
• Maintain consistent routines and high behaviour expectations
• Adapt activities for mixed‑ability groups
• Support pupils in developing confidence and skills in PE
• Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal PE Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or strong school‑based PE delivery experience
• Confident teaching practical PE across varied age groups
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and organisation abilities
• Proactive, reliable, and committed to high‑quality provision
• Able to motivate and support learners of differing abilities
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
