Are you a confident, resilient Support Worker who can build positive relationships while setting and maintaining clear boundaries? We’re recruiting dedicated support staff for a supported living service in Findern, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and non-verbal communication needs.

Your Role
• Provide person-centred support with daily living tasks including personal care, meals, and routines
• Support individuals who are non-verbal using alternative communication methods
• Promote independence, structure, and consistency
• Set, maintain, and enforce professional boundaries
• Manage challenging behaviours using positive behaviour support approaches
• Encourage community access and meaningful activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment
• Build trusting relationships while remaining firm, fair, and consistent
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 3 months’ experience in a support setting
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism
• Confidence working with challenging behaviour
• Strong communication skills and emotional resilience
• Ability to remain calm, assertive, and consistent
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings and weekends
