An exciting opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a recently refurbished, state-of-the-art practice in Warwickshire. Designed to support high clinical standards and efficient workflows, the practice offers excellent facilities including separate dog, cat and isolation wards, a large and spacious preparation area, a modern theatre, three consulting rooms, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and dental x-ray. This well-equipped environment provides the perfect setting to deliver exceptional patient care while enjoying a varied and stimulating caseload!
The role offers exposure to a wide range of interesting medical and surgical cases, making it ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon who takes pride in delivering outstanding care to both patients and clients. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, the successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining professional excellence, ensuring the highest standards of clinical, regulatory, and operational compliance are consistently met.
This position would suit an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical leadership skills and experience in developing a progressive clinical culture. The role involves mentoring and developing colleagues, supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures, and using coaching and influencing skills to help every team member perform at their best. Sharing best practice within and across the practice is actively encouraged, creating a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.
Day to day, you will deliver high quality consultations and procedures, provide clear and compassionate communication to clients, prepare tailored treatment and care plans with transparent cost estimates, and ensure smooth clinical handovers for patients requiring out-of-hours or enhanced care. Engagement, teamwork, and a proactive approach to clinical excellence are at the heart of this role.
