Summary
We are currently looking for a Mill Operative to join our client on a temporary basis working for one of the UK’s top 15 food companies and one of Europe’s leading poultry producers.
As a Mill Operative, you will help produce high-quality feed ingredients for UK farmers by supporting the operation of the plant to manufacture feed. Your main duties will include;
• Processing the intake of raw materials
• Conducting quality control checks on relevant materials
• Hand tipping bagged materials onto weighing systems (up to 25kg)
• Using FLT trucks to load bagged feed onto trucks and bring supplements and medications into the mill for the production team
You will also be required to carry out routine maintenance checks and carry out hygiene and housekeeping duties to keep the Mill up to health and safety standards.
A Mill Operative works 39 hours a week covering Monday through to Friday 8am - 4pm, with plenty of overtime available.
You will also need to have a Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
This is a temporary ongoing role and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

This role would suit someone who has worked as a production operative, FLT driver, site operative or working in a food factory environment before.
