Summary
This post forms part of a specialist team created to deliver a Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD) service to adults with suspected Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and with suspected and confirmed Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and. The post-holder will work as part of a team comprising psychiatrists, clinical practitioners, assistant psychologists, and administrators.
We will happily accept applications from newly or recently qualified psychologists, as well as those without experience of providing autism assessments, as we are able to provide all necessary training.
The position is based at Peckwater Centre and the post holder will be expected to work on site.
Working days will be Monday, Tuesday and WednesdayORThursday.
• The post holder will contribute to specialist diagnostic assessments for adults who are suspected to be autistic, completed as part of a team. They will also provide service users with feedback on assessment outcomes.
• They will provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment for those diagnosed with Adult ADHD, in individual and group formats.
• They will be responsible for supervising an assistant psychologists.
• They will also offer advice and consultation on service users’ psychological care to other professionals, and contribute to improving awareness and skills of other professionals working with neurodivergent adults.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
