This well-populated school boasts excellent facilities and offers a supportive and inclusive environment, ensuring all students – including those with additional needs – are able to thrive both academically and personally.

The Head Teacher is looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) on a permanent basis. The successful LSA will be supporting students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), with a particular focus on working closely with high school students with SEND within a mainstream setting.

This school is seeking a proactive and nurturing individual who can build strong relationships with students, provide tailored support, and work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure every learner reaches their full potential. The role will be vital in promoting engagement, confidence, and positive outcomes for students with additional needs.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school-based experience desirable)

  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • The ability to support learning both one-to-one and in small groups

  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent – desirable but not essential)

    In return, you can expect:
    • A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7

    • Guaranteed Payment Scheme (Terms and Conditions apply)

    • CPD courses and certificates as part of our ‘My-Progression’ brand

    • Market-leading rates of pay

    • Referral scheme – receive up to £100 when you refer a friend (Terms and Conditions apply)

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the correct level of Tax and National Insurance, with no hidden admin charges deducted from your hard-earned pay.
