Summary
ROLE: Service Advisor
LOCATION: Watford
SALARY: 30k basic, plus bonus of 7k + benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 – 6.00. Saturday morning on a rota 8.30 – 12.30
As a Service Advisor you will be the key point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle’s time on site. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive an outstanding service experience from start to finish.
What you’ll do:
Greet customers and provide exceptional service
Schedule and manage vehicle service appointments
Liaise between customers and technicians
Explain repair work and costs clearly
Upsell additional services when appropriate
Ensure a smooth and efficient workshop flow
Liaise with technicians to coordinate the work schedule and progress updates
Accurately manage booking systems, job cards, invoicing and customer records
To be successful in this Service Advisor role, you’ll have:
Previous experience in a service advisor role (automotive preferred)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic technical knowledge of vehicles (training provided)
IT proficiency and attention to detail
Strong organizational and admin skills, including familiarity with dealer software systems
Neat, professional appearance; team player with keen automotive interest
