Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Sefton to assist with the appointment of a Client Support Officer, on a 9-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £14.73 - £19.35 per hour

Summary:

An opportunity has arisen to join the Self Directed Support Team within Adult Social Care. This role supports clients, carers, and families who receive care through Direct Payments and/or Individual Service Funds.

You will play a key role in financial administration, including reconciling client accounts, calculating balances, identifying variances, and processing care payments.

Responsibilities:

Reconcile client accounts and produce audit reports
Calculate balances and identify reclaims/variances
Process and pay care provider invoices
Provide support to clients, carers, and families
Build effective relationships with internal and external partners
Essential Requirements:

Experience working in a finance setting
Strong numeracy and attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Office and ability to learn new IT systems
Ability to manage and prioritise workload independently
Experience delivering customer-focused services
Confidence communicating with vulnerable adults
