Summary
We are recruiting a part-time Administrative Support Officer to provide support to the administration of Green Spaces and Amenities (GSA) including bereavement services, allotments, sports pitch bookings, etc.
Duties will include liaising with funeral directors to take bookings for burials and cremations, using computerised systems for bereavement administration, allotments and finance. You will also provide general administrative support for other areas of the GSA Unit and deal with enquiries from the public by email, phone and face to face.
It is essential that you possess GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/5 (C), or equivalent. You must also have the ability to communicate effectively, maintain effective working relationships, use web-based applications and keep accurate records. Experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment is also essential.
You will be working in a small friendly office. We can consider flexible hours over 3-5 days per week.
