Summary
We are actively recruiting a Nursery Practitioner to join our established team starting as soon as possible. Our Nursery is situated inside the school building and offers provision for children aged 2yrs- 4yrs.
The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic approach and a passion for working with children and previous experience of working in a nursery or pre-school setting.
This is an exciting position to suit applicants who are looking to work 2 days a week and have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
Key Responsibilities
•Contribute play-based and creative activity ideas to enhance and support learning, in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
•Be actively involved in assisting with the daily routine of the children, including toileting, lunchtime, sleep time and being attentive to children’s individual needs.
•Competently ensure the safe arrival and departure of children.
• Build positive trusting relationships with the children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming room.
•Be able to work as part of a team, showing flexibility, adaptability and effective communication.
•Work as part of a school establishment and follow our school Ethos and Values.
We have a vacancy for the following hours:
Thursday and Friday- 12 ½ hours a week- 8.30am- 3.15pm (term time only)
Salary: Grade 5 point 7 £25,191 full-time (actual salary pro rata (£7,283)
