At Changing Lives, we offer a home rather than just a shelter.About the JobThe Senior Housing Management worker is a key member of our accommodation services team in Dudley. The Senior Housing Management Worker is a an operational leader responsible for ensuring the effective management of a 59-bed accommodation service designed for people with complex needs including, exploitation, substance use, mental health and offending behaviour. The role provides oversight of the entire housing pathway, ensuring that every stage-from referral to move-on- Support is delivered in a trauma-informed, person-centered and psychologically safe manner. This position ensures that the accommodation environment remains safe, legally compliant, financially stable, and aligned with Changing Lives values, while working closely with support teams to deliver a high-quality, integrated experience for residents. The Senior Housing Management Worker maintains a coordinated overview of accommodation flow, ensuring that referrals are reviewed promptly, and allocations are made based on need, suitability, risk and pathway priorities. They ensure the whole service operates as a coherent pathway, enabling people to progress through stages of support at the right pace. Working within the values and ethos of Changing Lives, the Senior Housing Management Worker will demonstrate a commitment to work in an environment where people’s preferences and concerns are listened to and acted upon in a timely and professional manner, and expectations are sensitively managed.
