Rebuild with Hope is a charitable organisation established to support individuals with multiple barriers to employment, whilst supporting those suffering due to the rising cost of living.
The charity currently has five stores with our flagship store in Wigan. These stores sell high street brands with discounts of up to 70% across all categories, homewares, clothing, gifts, toys, and accessories.

Role Overview
As a store assistant at the Community Hub, Rebuild with Hope foundation you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our retail store by delivering excellent customer service, processing sales and donations and maintaining a clean and organised store environment to contribute to the overall success of the charity. The role involves sorting, preparing, pricing and merchandising stock onto the shop floor in an appealing way to maximise sales and to encourage donations and gift aid where appropriate. Positively engage and support our volunteers whilst promoting activities and partners within the Community Hub.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the organisation
• Develop, maintain and improve administrative systems and procedures
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, filing systems, and data management
• Act as a central point of contact for internal enquiries
• Coordinate correspondence, documentation, and information flow across teams
• Organise and support meetings, including senior management and trustee meetings
• Prepare agendas, circulate papers, and take accurate and timely minutes
• Ensure actions are recorded, tracked, and followed up appropriately
• Support compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements
• Line manage a small administrative team, providing supervision, guidance, and support
• Allocate workloads and ensure administrative tasks are completed effectively and on time
• Support staff development through regular check-ins, appraisals, and training
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment
• Provide high-level administrative support to senior staff as required
• Assist with reporting to funders, partners, and stakeholders
• Support programme teams with administrative coordination and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement and organisational development initiatives
Skills and Experience
Essential:

• Understanding of the retail sector
• Able to communicate clearly
• Work well as part of a team
• Basic numeracy accuracy
• Friendly, approachable and a positive, can-do attitude
• Reliable, punctual, honest and trustworthy

Desirable:
• Previous experience in retail
