Stock Controller
Burton on Trent
We are seeking a full-time Stock Controller to join our client's growing team and support the delivery of high-quality dewatering solutions across the UK. As leaders in the industry with an expanding client base, they are committed to hiring motivated, hands on individuals who want to build a strong foundation for their development and future progression.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Stock Controller to oversee the organisations end-to-end stock management. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining efficient stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory control, and smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills and a pro-active and practical approach to inventory control.
Role and key responsibilities for Stock Controller:
- Monitor daily stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Support the implementation of our new stock and hire management system.
- Identify operational issues and work with management to introduce improved procedures.
- Undertake regular stock takes and audits.
- Investigate stock discrepancies to identify root causes and develop corrective solutions.
- Review inventory and equipment lifecycles, recommending improvements where beneficial.
Required Skills & Experience for Stock Controller:
- Proven experience in inventory and stock management
- Proficiency in MS 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and stock management software.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Proactive and effective in a fast-paced & hands-on environment
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

- Highly organised, self-driven, and proactive
- Adaptable and flexible
Pay: From £28,000 per year
