Summary

Operations Administrator – Immediate Start

Milton Keynes
Monday–Friday | 08:00–14:00
Some Saturdays until 12:00pm (as required)

We’re seeking a proactive, customer-focused Operations Administrator to join our busy depot team in Milton Keynes. This is a varied and engaging role where you’ll play a key part in keeping deliveries moving and customers happy.

The Job Role Will Include:

- Briefing drivers and checking the drivers’ bay is cleared before departure
- Clearing the floor once drivers have left of parcels not due for delivery
- Assisting customers collecting from or dropping off parcels at the depot
- Searching the warehouse for parcels when required
- Handling damaged items, including re-packing parcels with damaged packaging
- Managing phone enquiries regarding collections and delivery queries, ensuring resolution
- Responding to Salesforce (message-based service) customer service queries and investigating/responding within SLA
- Clearing systems down at the end of shift
- Manual POD (Proof of Delivery) entry
- Completing accurate end-of-shift reports


Important Information About the Role:

- This role involves multi-tasking between warehouse duties and office-based administrative work
- Some parcels can be large and heavy, so lifting will be required
- Safety shoes must be worn at all times


What We’re Looking For:

- Previous customer service experience
- Confident using computer systems and handling data entry
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced depot environment
- Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
- Physically capable of handling heavier parcels safely
