Summary
Teamforce Labour is currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker / Ganger for ongoing works in Golborne, Warrington (WA3).
This role will involve supervising a small gang while actively carrying out groundworks, with works predominantly focused on kerb laying and associated civils activities.
The successful candidate must hold a valid Street Works Supervisor card.
Plant operation will form part of the role, therefore Dumper and Roller certification is essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a busy civil engineering project with a well-established contractor.
Scope of Works
- Supervising and coordinating a small groundworks team
- Kerb laying and alignment to specification
- Operating Forward Tipping Dumper
- Operating Ride-on Roller
- Ensuring works are carried out in compliance with Street Works regulations
- Liaising with site management to maintain programme and safety standards
- Completing relevant site documentation where required
Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker or Gold Supervisor preferred)
- Valid Street Works Supervisor Card (NRSWA) – Essential
- Valid CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) Dumper & Roller certification – Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in groundworks and kerbing
- Previous experience working as a Ganger / Team Leader
- Two references from recent, relevant employment
- An up-to-date CV

- Strong understanding of site health & safety and Street Works compliance
- Able to work hands-on while supervising a team
