Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Qualified Teacher Status (or pending ECT/QTS outcome)
Experience in an 11-16 school
A good first degree in a related subject
Evidence of knowledge and capabilities relating to teaching KS3 and KS4 Art
Clarity of purpose and a student-centred vision
Good personal and interpersonal skills.
Good oral and written communication
Good levels of numeracy, literacy and ICT
Good time-management and personal organisation
Must support the school’s aims and values, setting a good example of attendance, punctuality and appearance.
Evidenced up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of learners appearance.
Demonstrate a determined attitude towards life and show great resilience.
Must have a great work ethic and enjoy working hard
