Summary

POSITION: SUPPORTED LODGINGS SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR

LOCATION: KNOWSLEY

HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK

SALARY: £28,430.16

The Supported Lodgings service provides short-term accommodation and assists young people aged 16-21 to develop the necessary skills required for independent living.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

o Recruitment, training & support of householders
o Completing appropriate risk assessments & checks
o Undertaking young people (YP) assessments & support planning
o Key working of young people & undertaking progress reviews
o Encouraging YPs to access other services.
o Mediation where appropriate


Applicants should also be able to prove assessment, mediation and crisis intervention skills. You should have a minimum of NVQ L3 or equivalent in social care and direct experience of working with YP. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other agencies to enable the continued development and growth of the service.

Applicants must have a current driving licence and the permanent use of a private vehicle. The post will be eligible for agile working flexible working and operates within normal business hours, although a degree of flexibility is required.
