School Business Manager


Salary: Grade J Point 35-39 (£46,142-£50,269)
Pro Rata: per annum (£39,511-£43,045)
Hours: 8.00 a.m. 4.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and
8.00 a.m. 3.30 p.m. on Fridays
37 hours per week (term time plus one week)

As our School Business Manager, you’ll be the engine behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs smoothly so our teachers can focus on inspiring young minds.

Financial Leadership You’ll lead on budgeting, financial planning, monitoring and reporting turning numbers into meaningful strategy and ensuring every penny makes a difference for our pupils.

Strategic Management Working alongside the Headteacher and Trustees, you’ll help shape the future of the school, aligning resources with vision and turning big ideas into achievable plans.

Team Leadership From office staff to site teams, you’ll lead, motivate and develop a dedicated support team fostering collaboration, efficiency and a positive working culture.

Operations & Compliance Premises, contracts, health & safety, GDPR, policies you’ll keep the operational wheels turning and ensure we meet all statutory and regulatory requirements.


Safeguarding The safety and wellbeing of our pupils is paramount. You’ll play a key role in maintaining robust safeguarding processes and ensuring compliance in all operational areas.
