Job Title: Plumbing Lecturer (Part-Time)
Location: Ashford
Hours: 12.25 contact hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Plumbing Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to learners studying Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing qualifications. This role involves delivering both theoretical knowledge and practical workshop-based training, ensuring learners develop the skills required to succeed in the plumbing industry.
The successful candidate will teach and assess learners working towards the City & Guilds 8202 qualifications at Levels 2 and 3.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Plumbing at Level 2 and Level 3
- Deliver both classroom-based theory and practical workshop sessions
- Assess and track learner progress in line with awarding body requirements
- Provide constructive feedback and support to learners
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Strong understanding of the City & Guilds 8202 qualifications (Level 2 & Level 3)
- Industry-relevant experience within the plumbing sector
- Secure knowledge of plumbing theory and practical installation tasks
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Essential Qualifications
- Level 2 & 3 Qualification in Plumbing
- Teaching qualification desirable
