School Attendance Officer - Haringey (Ongoing Temporary Role)Hours: 8:00am - 4:15pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track daily student attendance and punctuality.
- Use SIMS (School Information Management System) to record, update, and analyse attendance data.
- Follow up on unexplained absences through calls, emails, and letters to parents/carers.
- Produce attendance reports for senior leadership and pastoral teams.
- Work closely with safeguarding and pastoral staff to identify attendance concerns early.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with GDPR requirements.
- Support the wider admin team when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar school‑based attendance role (essential).
- Strong working knowledge of SIMS for attendance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a confidential, fast‑paced school environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Availability to work full‑time, 8:00am-4:15pm.
