Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and community‑focused school? A well‑established primary setting in South Birmingham is seeking a committed class teacher to join their team from Easter for a 12‑month maternity contract.

Your new role
You will take full responsibility for a year 2 class within the primary phase, delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons that support pupils' academic and personal development. You will work collaboratively with a supportive staff team who share a commitment to raising standards and providing a rich, well‑balanced curriculum.
You will:
- Plan and deliver creative, well‑structured lessons in line with the school's curriculum
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS1, ideally in Year 2
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing
- A proactive, reflective approach to teaching
