Summary
As an apprentice, you'll learn to craft artisan loaves, sourdough and cakes, producing high-quality baked goods and experiencing the satisfaction of seeing customers enjoy what you've made. Alongside bakery work, you'll support our tourism operations - helping to set up and maintain glamping accommodation, delivering excellent guest care, and assisting with cleaning and groundskeeping.
This is a varied, practical role ideal for someone enthusiastic, reliable and ready to learn. You'll gain valuable skills in baking, hospitality, customer service and property maintenance within a supportive, fast-paced rural business environment.
No two days are ever the same - and every day is hands-on.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Learning to craft artisan loaves, sourdough and cakes
Washing up and cleaning baking and kitchen equipment
Serving customers baked goods and afternoon teas
Meeting and greeting visitors/customers
Dealing with customer bills and payments
Stripping, cleaning and resetting glamping accommodation
Cleaning customer bathrooms; Laundry for glamping accommodation
Grounds maintenance, such as grass cutting, litter picking, maintenance inspections.
As a Hospitality Team Member Apprentice, you will be working towards your Food and Beverage Team Member L2 qualification, alongside your daily roles and responsibilities and will last around 15 months.
