Job Introduction
We’re currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at NBCUniversal in central London.This is a frontline role that plays a crucial part in protecting people, property, and reputation within a dynamic and high-profile client environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.You’ll be joining a well-established team with access to high-spec systems and ongoing support for professional development.
Main Responsibilities
Monitor and secure all client-occupied floors, maintaining safety and order at all times
Manage access control and issue photographic passes for staff and visitors across UK and global locations
Escort VIPs and respond swiftly to panic alarms or incidents requiring urgent support
Act as part of the emergency response team, playing a key role in evacuation procedures
Monitor multi-site CCTV systems (domestic and international) and proactively identify vulnerabilities
Conduct regular site patrols and report health and safety risks as they arise
Maintain a professional appearance at all times and ensure your workspace remains clear and compliant
Deliver services in line with site protocols and Sodexo’s operational standards
Ideal Candidate
You’ll need to demonstrate:
Valid SIA Licence and SIA CCTV Licence
3-day First Aid qualification
Proven experience in a similar security role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to remain calm and professional in emergencies
A proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving issues
Competency in using CCTV and access control systems
Pre-employment checks: This role requires a DBS clearance prior to starting.
