Summary
Severn Vale School is an Academy which provides an inclusive secondary education for students. The school is proud of its inclusive credentials and, in an area that has retained selection, subscribe instinctively to the comprehensive ideal. We are a popular and over-subscribed 11-16 academy.
We currently require examination invigilators.
The invigilator position is not a full-time position, but is dependent on when examinations have been scheduled. It is essential that you are available for mornings and/or afternoons on selected days between 7 May until 7 July. You will need to arrive by 8.00am for morning exams and 12.00noon for afternoon exams. Some afternoon exams may finish after the school day.
Experience is not required as training will be provided. Training will take place on Wednesday 15 April and successful applicants must be available on this day.
The successful candidate will have:
• Good time management skills: reliable and punctual
• Ability to communicate with students and members of staff clearly, calmly and accurately
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work with others as part of a team.Interviews will take place on Wednesday 18 March 2026.
