Summary
Bid Development Officer
£33,987 - £41,757 per annum
A minimum of 37.5 hours per week
PermanentAbout the Role:
• Identifying and monitoring external funding opportunities aligned to Hartpury’s strategic priorities
• Preparing clear summaries and recommendations to support bid and no bid decision making
• Supporting the coordination and preparation of funding applications, including written content, costings, impact statements and quality assurance
• Working with academic teams, professional services and external partners to gather inputs and ensure timely delivery of bids
• Maintaining accurate records of bid activity and contributing to progress and strategic reports
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of external funding processes and templates
About You: • Experience of supporting funding bids, tenders or grant applications • The ability to interpret complex guidance and translate it into clear, practical advice • Strong written communication skills, with experience drafting structured and persuasive content • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet competing deadlines • A collaborative approach and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
