Summary
Community Support Worker
KEYFORT Group – Supporting Adults, Children & Young People
Are you someone who believes everyone deserves dignity, respect and the opportunity to live a meaningful life?
Would you like a role where your work genuinely changes outcomes — not just fills shifts?
At KEYFORT Group, our mission is simple: to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people we support. We work with adults, children and young people across the North East, delivering highly personalised, person-centred care.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Community Support Worker, you will:
Improve outcomes for adults, children and young people
Support individuals to build independence, confidence and life skills
Be involved in team meetings to review and improve the support provided
Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals
Follow person-centred plans designed around individual goals
Our work spans specialist areas including:
Brain Injury
Neurological Conditions
Learning Disabilities
Mental Health
Physical Disabilities
Spinal Injuries
Complex and long-term conditions
Every package of support is unique — and so is every person we work with.
You’d Be a Great Fit If You:
See the person, not the diagnosis
Are naturally patient, calm and emotionally intelligent
Value consistency and understand that trust is built over time
Can remain professional and solution-focused during challenges
Are open to learning and reflective about your practice
Want to make a genuine, lasting difference
Experience in care is helpful — but not always essential.
We welcome applicants returning to work or changing careers. Transferable skills from roles such as retail, hospitality, childcare, education, healthcare or customer service are highly valued.
What matters most to us is your values, resilience and commitment.
What Learning & Development We Offer
We invest in our teams because quality support starts with confident, skilled staff.
Comprehensive induction and ongoing training
Certified PBS / PMVA training
Specialist training in Brain Injury, Learning Disability and Mental Health support
Ongoing mentoring from our in-house RGN, Occupational Therapist and Psychologists
Support to understand and implement OT-led and therapeutic goals
A reflective and supportive team environment
Real opportunities to develop into senior or specialist roles
This is purposeful work — and we equip you properly for it.
What Benefits Will You Receive?
A contract that works for you – fixed hours or flexible zero-hour options
Paid annual leave:
5.6 weeks (fixed hours contracts)
12.07% accrued for zero-hour contracts (withdraw at your discretion)
Paid Enhanced DBS check
