Summary
In this role, you will work alongside our registered nurses to deliver highquality, compassionate care to children and young people, based on their assessed needs and individual care plans. This is a busy and varied position where teamwork is essential. Youll help balance a range of tasks that can change throughout the day, ensuring our patients and their families feel supported and safe. Your daily duties may include: Monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation and temperature Supporting children and young people throughout their stay in hospital Liaising sensitively and professionally with families Monitoring and recording food and fluid intake Communicating effectively and using deescalation techniques when needed Carrying out glucose monitoring Supporting young people experiencing mental health challenges Contributing to childrens safeguarding processes Providing supportive meal assistance for children and young people with eating disorders Accurately documenting all care and actions in patient notes
