Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and competent Casual Driver to support our operations on an ad‑hoc basis. The role involves driving motorhomes within the local area and completing general duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and manoeuvre motorhomes within the local area.
- Carry out vehicle movements between sites, customers, and service locations.
- Conduct basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, lights, cleanliness) before and after use.
- Assist with general ad‑hoc duties, which may include:
- Cleaning or preparing vehicles
- Supporting the workshop or yard team
- Delivering or collecting items locally
- Organisational tasks
- Follow all company safety procedures and road regulations.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers or the public.
Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Confident and competent in driving large vehicles, including motorhomes.
- Good knowledge of the local area.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexibly at short notice.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Strong awareness of safety and care when handling vehicles.
Desirable
- Previous experience driving motorhomes, vans, or other large vehicles.
- Customer service experience.
