- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes across a range of subjects
- Maintain a purposeful and positive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Support pupils in staying engaged and on task during lessons
- Supervise pupils during lessons, transitions, or break times as required
- Report feedback on pupil progress or behaviour to teaching staff
- Assist with general classroom support and cover duties across the school
- Promote positive learning behaviours and encourage independence
- Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting
- Confident leading a classroom and delivering set work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective behaviour management abilities
- Adaptable and comfortable working across different year groups and subjects
- Professional, reliable, and proactive
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
