- Deliver engaging Maths lessons using provided plans
- Teach a range of mathematical topics including algebra, geometry, number, and statistics
- Support learners in developing problem‑solving and analytical thinking
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching approaches to support different learning needs
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Contribute to departmental planning during longer‑term placements
- Promote positive attitudes towards numeracy and independent learning
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students across different year groups
- Adaptable across varied school environments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
