Summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Chemistry Technician to work alongside the staff in the Chemistry Department.
The main purpose of the role is to prepare equipment and apparatus as required by members of staff.
The hours are 39 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 8.10am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.10am to 4:20pm (with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day). The appointment is for 37 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSET days).
The starting salary is at point 15 of the support staff pay scale points 15 to 18. For the hours noted above, the actual starting salary is £21447.00 (point 15).
Closing date: 9:00am on Thursday 5th March 2026.
Interviews: week commencing Monday 9th March 2026.
