Summary
The Best Connection West Bromwich are recruiting for x2 Crosshead Extrusion Setter to join our client's fantastic manufacturing/distribution centre based within the heart of West Bromwich.
There are two shifts available. Please see details below:
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 18:00.
- Pay rate £14 per hour.
- Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-19:00
- Pay rate £13-£14 (dependent on experience)
You will be working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, please see main duties below.
Daily duties include:
- Work under the direction of a Team Leader, following assigned tasks and instructions.
- Set up and operate Crosshead Extrusion machinery.
- Carry out routine tool maintenance, including cleaning.
- Inspect incoming materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production and quality records.
- Uphold strong 5S standards within the work area.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the role.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as required.
